He worked as an employment and training consultant for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and later for the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation. He also served as a trustee for the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board for four terms. Sheehan was also elected to the Sault Ste.
