QuestionFinance

Mr. Speaker, Canada has a unique opportunity to build a stronger, more independent and resilient country. In a rapidly changing world, that means new jobs, new investments and new opportunities for all Canadians. Can the Minister of Finance and National Revenue please update the House on the next steps in our plan to help Canadians seize these new opportunities?

Thank you, Mr. Chair. My next question is for Dr. McCartney. You mentioned in your opening remarks about youth pathways out of homelessness. I was wondering if you can elaborate and tie it back to your recommendations about greater community control and how the federal government can play a role in helping address some of those needs and gaps.

Thank you for that. Do you mind tying this back to long-term, predictable funding? Specifically, has there been success in creating opportunities for youth? Where can we see pathways toward that?

QuestionThe Economy

Mr. Speaker, it is an honour to rise in the House on behalf of the people of Beaches—East York for the first time. They sent me here to help bring down costs for families, protect workers and businesses, and build a more prosperous Canada for all. Can the Minister of Industry please update the House on the work being done to attract new investment, diversify markets and build a stronger economy?
